The "Racing Boss 351" (not to be confused with the Ford 335 engine Cleveland-based Boss 351) is a crate engine based on the 351 cu in (5,752 cc) Ford Windsor engine, but uses Cleveland sized 2.75 in (70 mm) main bearing journals. Deck height choices include 9.2 in (234 mm) and 9.5 in (241 mm).
The Ford FE engine is a medium block V8 engine produced by the Ford Motor Company and used in vehicles sold in the North American market between 1958 and 1976. The FE, derived from 'Ford-Edsel', [1] was introduced just four years into the short-lived Ford Y-block engine, which American cars and trucks were outgrowing.
Later models came with hydraulic clutches. These were commonly found in Pintos, some Mustang II/Capris, and Rangers but do not match the V6 Bell housings.
