Nine Dragons (九龍圖卷; Jiǔlóngtú juǎn) is a handscroll painting by Chinese artist Chen Rong. [1] Painted in 1244, it depicts the apparitions of dragons soaring amidst clouds, mists, whirlpools, rocky mountains and fire, the painting refers to the dynamic forces of nature in Daoism and the liquid, water-like essence of the Tao. [2]
Saint George or Saint George and the Dragon is a small painting by the Italian Renaissance artist Raphael, executed c. 1503–1505. It is housed in the Louvre in Paris . A later version of the same subject is the Saint George and the Dragon in the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C.

Robin Wood (November 1953 – April 19, 2021) was an American artist specializing in game art and fantasy. She is best known for her portraits of characters from Anne McCaffrey's Dragonriders of Pern series, the Robin Wood Tarot Deck [1] [2] [3] and the cover art for several of Scott Cunningham's books on neo-Paganism.
