Thanks for posting the reference to Hiatus Campers. I just sent them an email asking if they can replace the pop-up portion of my FWC camper with their hard side pop up top. The rigid, composite panels they use for the folding walls are made out of fiberglass and plastic. These are by nature waterproof.

Aluminum framed campers – especially with a small interior space – are prone to condensation. Most of this moisture comes from our breathing during long winter nights with the windows closed. We stay on top of condensation by sleeping with the roof vent opened as much as possible and wiping everything up in the morning.

Hey all, After a long hiatus away from the FWC family, I am back with a new to me 2002 Eagle for my 2003 Tundra Access Cab 4x4. My previous Eagle (2003), had a sewn in velcro flap at the top of the canvas. The new camper does not.

A number of owners still bolt their campers through the camper floor and truck bed, but these are the folks who rarely remove their campers. Most do use the turnbuckle method, and that requires eyebolts in the bed of the truck, and some type of a plate or eyebolt attached to the part of the camper that extends over the side of the bed.
I'm getting a 700fds Pastime Truck camper. They are built for small trucks. I have a Tacoma. Does anyone have any experience with these campers? I'm interested in how it handles on your truck. Any suspension modifications you made. How it affected gas mileage. How you like the camper generally speaking.
