Chorale and Shaker Dance is a lively composition based on two musical themes, an original melody (the "chorale") and the Shaker tune, "Simple Gifts".It begins with a woodwind chorale composed of piccolo, flute, oboe, E♭ clarinet, B♭ clarinet, E♭ alto clarinet, B♭ bass clarinet, bassoon, and alto saxophone with a canon theme exhibited several times between the saxophone and flute.
During the concert special he brought out special guest Lil Jon, Ludacris, Daddy Yankee, Fat Joe, and Beyoncé to perform a dance routine to "Bad Girl" choreographed by Frank Gatson. As of September 16, 2005 DVD The Truth Tour: Behind The Tour, has been certified 7× Platinum by RIAA .
The Avalon Ballroom was a music venue in the Polk Gulch neighborhood of San Francisco, California, at 1244 Sutter Street [1] (or 1268 Sutter, [2] depending on the entrance). The space is known as the location of many concerts of the counterculture movement, from around 1966 to 1969. It also had a reopening 34 years later, from 2003 to 2005.

In 1954, musician Ike Turner relocated his band the Kings of Rhythm from Clarksdale, Mississippi to St. Louis, Missouri. [1] Turner performed around the greater St. Louis area and built a strong following. [2] In 1956, Ann Bullock joined Turner's band as a vocalist after he heard her sing at Club Manhattan in East St. Louis, Illinois. [3]
John Barnes Chance (November 20, 1932 – August 16, 1972) was an American composer. Chance studied composition with Clifton Williams at the University of Texas, Austin, and is best known for his concert band works, which include Variations on a Korean Folk Song, Incantation and Dance, and Blue Lake Overture.
