Nicholas Bain (c. 1824—December 15, 1854), also known as Beheehan or Behan, [1] [2] was an American farmworker who murdered three people on Long Island in 1854, a crime that gained much notoriety. [3] The author Charles Dickens commented on this crime in his Household Narrative of Current Events periodical.
