I am looking at server-side memory optimization mods, and the two that I have come across for Fabric are Ferrite Core and Hydrogen. I would normally go for Hydrogen, as I like JellySquid mods, but Ferrite Core claims to have a better reduction of memory.
A lot of the mods I listed only really have an effect in multiplayer, also yeah I guess helium is a fork of hydrogen but hydrogen and ferrite core are different mods trying to do similar things so I wouldn't install them at the same time. Also the mods I listed work well together
Currently 4/August/2023, Minecraft version 1.20.1 Forge and OptiFine HD U I6 pre6: "Create" mod and "Enchanced Celestials - Blood, Blue & Harvest" break Optifine with a bad mixing. Additionally Optifine when running breaks rendering of mods using GecoLib. Solution: Rubidium + Oculus + Magnesium/Rubidium Extras + Magnesium/Rubidium Dynamic Lights.
Calcium, Ferrite Core, Magnesium, Magnesium Extras, and Sulfuric are pretty much the core for this, and seem to play well together. Calcium is a compatibility mod between CodeChicken Lib and Magnesium. Ferrite Core is a memory optimization mod, very effective and seems to be pretty compatible.

Sodium and Indium are clientside. It's also worth mentioning that indium isn't a performance mod, it just implements the fabric rendering api into sodium. I've never used spark but the curseforge page says it's for the client and server. Same with ferrite core. Lithium might have some clientside stuff but I'm not really sure. Everything else is ...
Vanillafix is only available on 1.12. Ferrite Core is only available on 1.16. Unless you went through the effort to either update VanillaFix or backport Ferrite Core, it's not possible to use both of these mods at the same time.
