They want to list every possible mod in each category, but that results in clutter (e.g. 3 different Forge ports of Sodium in one list, only one of which is still maintained). They also have a category for launchers (and other software), which isn't necessarily related to modded Minecraft itself (it was even worse when they gave each launcher a ...

  5. Ferrite Core vs Hydrogen : r/fabricmc - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/fabricmc/comments/omzdt5/ferrite_core_vs_hydrogen

I am looking at server-side memory optimization mods, and the two that I have come across for Fabric are Ferrite Core and Hydrogen. I would normally go for Hydrogen, as I like JellySquid mods, but Ferrite Core claims to have a better reduction of memory.

  6. Best combination of performance mods? : r/feedthebeast - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/feedthebeast/comments/rwma9s/best_combination_of_performance_mods

A lot of the mods I listed only really have an effect in multiplayer, also yeah I guess helium is a fork of hydrogen but hydrogen and ferrite core are different mods trying to do similar things so I wouldn't install them at the same time. Also the mods I listed work well together

Currently 4/August/2023, Minecraft version 1.20.1 Forge and OptiFine HD U I6 pre6: "Create" mod and "Enchanced Celestials - Blood, Blue & Harvest" break Optifine with a bad mixing. Additionally Optifine when running breaks rendering of mods using GecoLib. Solution: Rubidium + Oculus + Magnesium/Rubidium Extras + Magnesium/Rubidium Dynamic Lights.

Calcium, Ferrite Core, Magnesium, Magnesium Extras, and Sulfuric are pretty much the core for this, and seem to play well together. Calcium is a compatibility mod between CodeChicken Lib and Magnesium. Ferrite Core is a memory optimization mod, very effective and seems to be pretty compatible.

    www.reddit.com/r/technicalminecraft/comments/pqr7av/performance_mod_affect_farm

Sodium and Indium are clientside. It's also worth mentioning that indium isn't a performance mod, it just implements the fabric rendering api into sodium. I've never used spark but the curseforge page says it's for the client and server. Same with ferrite core. Lithium might have some clientside stuff but I'm not really sure. Everything else is ...

  11. Can I run optifine with vanilla fix and ferrite core?

    www.reddit.com/.../comments/nrwfgn/can_i_run_optifine_with_vanilla_fix_and_ferrite

Vanillafix is only available on 1.12. Ferrite Core is only available on 1.16. Unless you went through the effort to either update VanillaFix or backport Ferrite Core, it's not possible to use both of these mods at the same time.
