It was originally released as a double A-side with its rock counterpart on February 29, 2000 in the UK. An individual release was available starting sometime in April.
West and the Sunday Service Choir performed a rendition of it at the group's first concert in January 2019, and Kids See Ghosts performed the song live at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival later that year. Nicole Millar delivered an indie pop cover version of the song for Triple J's Like a Version in April 2019.
