The New Schools at Carver (formerly the George Washington Carver Comprehensive High School) is a high school in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. It is part of Atlanta Public Schools . In 1954, a new building was built for grades 8-12 and was named George Washington Carver High School while the adjacent Carroll County Training School, becoming a feeder elementary school, was renamed "Alabama Street Elementary". Carver had an initial enrollment of around 600, which remained fairly constant until the school closed.
