Police officer Nana Stephen Owusu-Nsiah is a police officer and diplomat. He was the Ghanaian ambassador to Israel and a former Inspector General of Police of the Ghana Police Service (IGP).

Gifty Oware-Mensah (born 4 July 1986) is a Ghanaian politician and currently the deputy executive director of the National Service Scheme in Ghana. [ 1 ] [ 2 ] [ 3 ] She has responsibility for administration and finance, helping to manage an annual personnel pool of about 100,000.
Prior to his appointment as the IGP, he was the Director of Passports at the Passports Office in Ghana. On starting his first term as President of Ghana, John Kufuor asked Peter Nanfuri to proceed on leave and Owusu-Poku was then appointed in his stead as the new IGP. He was the most senior Police officer in the service at the time. [2]
The Ghana Police Service (GPS) is the main law enforcement agency of Ghana. The service is under the control of the Ghanaian Ministry of the Interior , [ 2 ] and employs over 30,000 officers across its 651 stations.
Dampare joined the Ghana Police Service in December 1990 at the age of 20 as a Police Constable. Dampare was named the overall Best Recruit at the National Police Training School in 1991, after completing his recruit training, and won all awards except the 'Best Marksman' award. [12]

[ 1 ] Towards the end of his service as IGP, he came under severe pressure due to the serial murder of some women in Ghana. [ 2 ]
