Snapped is an American true crime television series produced by Jupiter Entertainment which depicts high profile or bizarre cases of women accused of murder. Each episode outlines the motivation for murder, whether it be revenge against a cheating husband or lover, a large insurance payoff, or the ending to years of abuse, with each murder's circumstances as unique as the women profiled.
Note: Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen play Michelle and Melina in this episode. It is the second time that the two are shown on screen together in the series. (They are also seen together in the season 1 episode "The Seven Month Itch (Part 1)", in the season 5 episode "The Devil Made Me Do It" and in the series finale "Michelle Rides Again, Part 2".)
In season four, Jesse marries Becky (Lori Loughlin), and they move into the attic. Then, in season five, Becky and Jesse have twin boys named Nicky and Alex (Daniel and Kevin Renteria/Blake and Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit). The series ends with the two-part episode "Michelle Rides Again", which aired on May 23, 1995.

In 1997, CBS aired a special episode of 48 Hours titled Property of 48 Hours, which focused on some of the stories over the program's first nine years. After low ratings on Saturday nights, the show was moved to Wednesday nights, replacing the comedies Lenny and Doctor Doctor , and it was soon to be moved to the 10:00 p.m. slot. [ 3 ]
