While most arch-top guitars had 14-fret neck joints, the Electro-Spanish Ken Roberts fingerboard joined the body at the 17th fret allowing much greater access to the higher frets, creating a full 25-1/2" inch scale. This addition made the Electro-Spanish Ken Roberts the first production full-scale (25-1/2") electrified guitar. [4] [5]
The 330 group consists of full scale guitars with standard features. These models (numbers 330 to 345) feature 24 + 3 ⁄ 4 in (630 mm) scale necks, unbound 15 in (380 mm) wide bodies with Rickenbacker's trademark "slash" sound hole, and pearl dot fretboard inlays. The deluxe 360 model group, numbers 360 to 375.

The 325 was designed by Roger Rossmeisl, a guitar craftsman from a family of German instrument makers. Production models had a 20 + 3 ⁄ 4-inch (530 mm) short scale, dot fretboard inlays, and a small (12 + 3 ⁄ 4-inch-wide [320 mm]) body. The body is unbound, semi-hollow, with an angled sound hole, and boasts "crescent moon"-style cutaways.
Rickenbacker used an innovative headstock design that incorporates both a slotted-style peghead and a solid peghead, thereby eliminating the need for the larger headstock normally associated with a 12-string guitar. Another feature unique to Rickenbacker 12-strings is the ordering of the courses.
Two models were available - The "Bullet" (known as The standard Bullet) & the "Bullet Deluxe", retailers & dealers in the USA often called the guitars "The Bullet One" but this was never a marketing name used by Fender. The "1" on the headstock was devised by John Page as an ad campaign as in "#1 with a bullet" like in Billboard with a silver star.
