Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure is a 2011 American direct-to-video musical romantic comedy film and High School Musical spin-off starring Ashley Tisdale. [1] [2] Set a year after the events of High School Musical 3: Senior Year (2008), the film centers on Sharpay Evans' life after graduation and her efforts to obtain a role in a Broadway show.
The girls are sometimes collectively known as the Sharpettes, as they often act as back-up singers and dancers for Sharpay, but are never referred to as such in the film series. It is apparent that they do not attend East High School and spend the majority of their time with Sharpay during the summer at her family's country club, Lava Springs.
