Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) is the statutory emergency fire and rescue service for the metropolitan county of Greater Manchester, England. It is part of the Greater Manchester Combined Authority. [1] GMFRS covers an area of approximately 496 square miles (1,280 km 2).
