I just purchased this 8” bulletproof hitch. My tremor was ordered July 29th so I’ll be waiting to install it. What I can share is that this hitch is a beast. The shipping weight was 75 pounds. I probably won’t be doing any rock crawling so I should be fine with the height. The hitch is for pulling a 33’ travel trailer.
To keep your hitch safe and secure, the BulletProof Stainless Steel Locking Pin is a great solution for locking your hitch to your vehicle receiver and for locking your dual ball to your hitch. This universal 5/8" locking pin is compatible with any trailer hitch or vehicle receiver

I’ve been running these bulletproof hitches for years on two personal trucks and 4 work trucks. And have loaded the 14k trailers down to the max with no telling how much tongue weight depending on the actual size of the load and not once ever bent a pin.

BulletProof Hitches™ are manufactured to a very tight tolerance of +/- .010 of an inch. Unfortunately, hitch receivers cannot always live up to these standards. Tolerances can vary as much as .100 of an inch and could cause some unwanted movement or rattle in the hitch.
I personally think the high capacity bulletproof hitches are a bit of a novelty. What's the point of a solid 3" shank when it has the same weak link as the standard duty. A poorly designed thin cross section of bent steel is still carrying all of the weight. Looks like something designed with no input from any engineering department.
