What I do is a 3 step process that uses a combination of freehand and mouse: Step 1: draw all panels by hand and scan them Step 2: upload the scanned images and trace with mouse using Illustrator Step 3: add color and draw backgrounds using photoshop. Sometimes I surprise myself with the results. I'm not a great artist but it doesn't look horrible.
2nd step: Now that you know that you are having delays, go into your computer settings. There should be a sub-setting called Devices (bluetooth, printers, mouse). Click this setting. 3rd step: This will bring you onto a page called Bluetooth & other devices. You will not be able to access the settings to your pen/tablet from here.

When you do get good enough, and it is easier to use, there's so much more you can do with a comic digitally that you just can't do traditionally. If I try and use it within something like Medibang or PainttoolSai, the placement of the pen and the mouse on my computer get 'confused' and the ...
Track your journey with me. It's okay to take up to two days off a week (because carpel tunnel is bad) but the goal is to draw at least five days a week until you reach a total of 100 days and see how much you improved over time. This was my first day for digital art: [image] And here was yesterday's art day #19 (day 5 of a different challenge) [image]
Depending on what computer and what tablet you’re using, it’s pretty possible to draw on the bed. I used to use a laptop for drawing for about 2 months and it was very nice for bed work. It also depends on the amount of cords you need. One outlet can work nicely if you’re using a laptop and the tablet.
