The Manske–Niemann Farm is a historic 462-acre (187 ha) farm complex located at 13 Franks Lane near Litchfield, Illinois. The farm was most likely established in the 1850s and was purchased by German immigrant Michael Manske in 1863. Manske and his family developed and expanded the farm in three main stages.
Peck Farm Park is a 385-acre park in Geneva, Illinois.It is a part of the Geneva Park District and open to the public year-round. The farm was established c. 1832 by John W. Knobeloch and his family; after passing through several generations of the Knobeloch family, it was inherited by Henry Seibert. Both the Knobeloch and Seibert families immigrated to the area from Germany as part of a wave of German immigration to Illinois' American Bottom region in the early 1800s.
