National Highway 275 (NH-275), also commonly referred to as Bengaluru–Mysuru access-controlled Expressway, part of the Bengaluru–Mangaluru Economic Corridor (EC-34), [1] is a national highway that starts from Bengaluru and goes through Mysuru as a 6-lane expressway of 119 km (74 mi), and again as 4-lane till Bilikere (towards Madikeri), and ends at Bantwal. [2]
Now it's renumbered to 16235/16236 so now it's operated by South Western Railway. It's one of the highly patronized trains of Mysuru division in South Western Railway.There is a constant demand from south tamilnadu people to divert this train through Salem - Namakkal - Karur line for reduce the travel time and also the fare.
The highway passes through the towns of Ramanagara, Channapatna, Maddur, Mandya and Srirangapatna (Seringapattinam), before entering Mysore. The road is dual carriageway and passes over the Kaveri river. [1] The 15 km stretch from Bangalore Central to Kengeri NICE Road Junction is known as Mysore Road.

[2] The alternate road to use during night hours is to leave NH 766 at Kalpetta and proceed to Mysore through Mananthavady, Kutta, Gonikoppal, and Hunsur.
