Thomas D. Mangelsen (born January 6, 1946) is an American nature and wildlife photographer and conservationist. He is most famous for his photography of wildlife in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, as he has lived inside the zone in Jackson, Wyoming, for over 40 years.
Haynes was born on September 27, 1884, to Frank Jay Haynes and Lily Snyder in Fargo, North Dakota. [1] He later moved with his family to Moorhead, Minnesota. [2] Haynes grew up around his father, Frank Jay Haynes, who was the official photographer of Yellowstone National Park and who ran a successful photography business.
