Dear and the Headlights was an American indie rock band from Phoenix, Arizona, formed in 2005. They released two widely known demos, recorded by future bassist Chuckie Duff, before their debut album was released.
Drunk Like Bible Times is the second and final studio album by Arizona-based indie rock band Dear and the Headlights.It was released on September 30, 2008 [4] through independent record label Equal Vision Records.

Forgive Durden toured the United States with Steel Train and Dear and the Headlights in the fall of 2008. Forgive Durden went on a headlining tour, Razia's Shadow: The Tour, with You, Me, and Everyone We Know and Anarbor in Spring/Summer 2009.
They followed this with a North America tour in July with Dear and the Headlights. [ 62 ] [ 63 ] In 2013, an iTunes Sessions EP was released, which featured a rendition of "Chase This Light". [ 64 ]
From late May to early July, the band went on tour with the Spill Canvas, Ludo, Sing It Loud and Liam and Me. [12] In October and November, the band went on a headlining tour of the US with support from Forgive Durden and Dear and the Headlights. [13] They ended the year a holiday show with Envy on the Coast and the Gay Blades. [14]
Nine Inch Nails concluded the tour on August 20 in Orlando. [7] Their slot on the bill was filled by Violent Femmes or Fishbone for the remainder of the tour. For the final show in Enumclaw, WA, along with NIN, Living Colour and Butthole Surfers did not play either. Both Violent Femmes and Fishbone performed instead.
They've toured the United States with acts like Dear and the Headlights, All The Day Holiday, Local H, and most recently with Jimmy Eat World. In addition to opening for Local H, Kinch served as their backing band on their Six Angry Records tour in 2010.
