Spring Creek is a stream in Collin and Dallas counties, in the United States. [1] Spring Creek (pronounced: /sprɪŋ kriːk/) is a 16.5-mile-long tributary of Rowlett Creek located in southern Collin County, Texas. It plays a significant role in the region's geography, history, and ecology.
The Spring Mountains National Recreation Area (SMNRA) is a U.S. national recreation area, administered by the U.S. Forest Service, west of Las Vegas, Nevada. It covers over 316,000 acres (494 sq mi; 1,280 km 2). The area runs from low meadows (around 3,000 feet or 910 meters above sea level), to the 11,918-foot (3,633 m) Mount Charleston.
It features about 1,000 acres (400 ha) of woods and fields. The park includes a bridle trail, dog park and off-leash dog trail, a paved trail and nature trails plus a picnic shelter and wetlands.
