"Dueling Banjos" is a bluegrass composition by Arthur "Guitar Boogie" Smith.The song was composed in 1954 [2] by Smith as a banjo instrumental he called "Feudin' Banjos"; it contained riffs from Smith, recorded in 1955 playing a four-string plectrum banjo and accompanied by five-string bluegrass banjo player Don Reno.
"Take Me Home, Country Roads", or Country Roads, Take Me Home also known simply as "Country Roads", is a song written by Bill Danoff, Taffy Nivert and John Denver. It was released as a single performed by Denver on April 12, 1971, peaking at number two on Billboard ' s US Hot 100 singles for the week ending August 28, 1971.
In November 2023, Riegling performed "Old Dirt Roads" with an acoustic guitar on the American television channel RFD-TV during an appearance on one of their shows. Mark Johnson (born May 20, 1955) is an American banjoist credited with creating a style of five string banjo playing called Clawgrass, which incorporates bluegrass and clawhammer banjo styles as well as bluegrass guitar styles and bluegrass ensemble techniques. [1]
