St. Johns County is a county in the northeastern part of the U.S. state of Florida. As of the 2020 United States census , its population was 273,425. [ 1 ] The county seat and most populous incorporated city is St. Augustine , although the nearby community, St. Johns , has a higher population. [ 2 ]
With all unofficial votes, St. Johns County's turnout has surpassed 10% after the first day of early voting and returned vote-by-mail ballots.
It stretches south to St. Augustine in St. Johns County. From 2002 to 2013 the district comprised all of Citrus, Hernando, and Sumter counties and most of Lake, Levy, and Pasco counties and portions of Marion and Polk counties. The district included northern exurbs of Tampa and western exurbs of Orlando within the high-growth Interstate 4 Corridor.
