Law tells Luffy that fighting Trebol is futile, while revealing Trebol's slime is in fact mucus, before he begins to insult Trebol and the other executives.

Imu reveals to Cobra that "D." links to a historic mistake by Nefertari Lili, which unleashed the Poneglyphs. After Cobra confirms Lili’s full name has a "D." in it, Imu stabs him. Sabo intervenes but flees with Cobra, who wants to send a message to Luffy and Vivi that the entire Nefertari family has "D." in their names.
Luffy is brought to the palace, where Hancock is shocked to learn of Luffy's attack on the World Noble. Luffy learns that the three sisters were once slaves of the World Nobles, but were freed when Fisher Tiger attacked Mariejois, and that he eventually founded the Sunny Pirates from former slaves. Hancock then grants Luffy use of her ship.
Luffy retorts with another Red Hawk, but Hordy is still standing. Chopper reveals he now only needs one Rumble Ball for his Monster Point, which he now has full control of. Presuming Luffy to be defeated, Lucci decides to take Usopp's suggestion with the intention of slaughtering the entire Straw Hat crew before returning to finish Luffy off. But Luffy, spurred by Usopp's words, gets back to his feet with a promise not to fall again until he wins. Luffy then engages Lucci in a final fist fight.
