The Science of Life is a book written by H. G. Wells, Julian Huxley and G. P. Wells, published in three volumes by The Waverley Publishing Company Ltd [2] in 1929–30, giving a popular account of all major aspects of biology as known in the 1920s.
His textbook Psychology: A study of mental life, which appeared first in 1921, went through many editions and was the first introduction to psychology for generations of undergraduate students. His 1938 textbook of experimental psychology was scarcely less influential, especially in the 1954 second edition, written with Harold H. Schlosberg.
The book was originally published by Holmes, the founder of Religious Science, in 1926. A revised version was completed by Holmes and Maude Allison Lathem and published 12 years later in 1938.
