GameFly is terrific because you can rent as many games as you want, and if you don't like them you just send it right back and get the next one. Such freedom. No more feeling like you have to slog through and beat a mediocre game just because you bought it.
Gamefly is definitely a better deal than Blockbuster, but Blockbuster isn't as bad as you say, unless they changed it in the last few months. I forget the exact prices and time frames, but I think it cost $8 for 7 days for prev gen games, and $10 for 5 days for curr gen games.
Gamefly is 20'ish dollars a month depending on number of games at a time. Games take about a week to get from the day you send it off to the day you receive your replacement. When a new system comes out and games are 50-60 bucks a pop I think it's worth it.
Bro no don't cancel! It doesn't . Matter that it takes a week to get a game an new game costs $69 plus tax so $76 GameFly is like $10 a month if you buy 3 months at a time certificates. It would take you like 8 months of GameFly sub to even cost the price of one new game! In 8 months you'll have beaten or played a bunch of games.
So in all, GameFly isn’t the best rental service for movies. If you have access to Redbox near you, I’d do that instead. $3 a night per disc, so if you watch a movie that night that’s all you pay and can return quickly.

When Blockbuster and Hollywood Video shutdown I figured most places like them would too with everything being digital now. Then I found a thread and someone mentioned how most people never mention Gamefly when it comes to discounts and I was like "whaaa, Gamefly is alive". Then I did some research and man was it a good fit for my gaming.

I used gamefly while I was in school and loved it. Used to do the 2 discs at a time plan. It usually worked out that by the time I was done with a game the other disc had arrived, so never a lull in between my gamefly games. Also didn't really have a hard time getting the newer releases.
