Sir James McCulloch, KCMG (18 March 1819 – 31 January 1893) was a British colonial politician and statesman who served as the fifth premier of Victoria over four non-consecutive terms from 1863 to 1868, 1868 to 1869, 1870 to 1871 and 1875 to 1877. He is the third longest-serving premier in Victorian history.
James McCulloch (4 June 1953 – 25 September 1979) was a Scottish musician best known for playing lead guitar and bass as a member of Paul McCartney's band Wings from 1974 to 1977. McCulloch was a member of the Glasgow psychedelic band One in a Million (formerly known as the Jaygars), Thunderclap Newman , and Stone the Crows .
James W. McCulloh (1789–1861) was an American politician and cashier from Baltimore. [2] He is known for being a party in the landmark U.S. Supreme Court case McCulloch v. Maryland (1819), which held that Congress has implied powers under the Necessary and Proper Clause , and its valid exercise of those powers are supreme over the states. [ 3 ]
