The Battle House Renaissance Mobile Hotel & Spa, is a historic hotel in Mobile, Alabama. The current structure was built in 1908 as the Battle House Hotel . It is the second hotel by that name to stand in this location, replacing an earlier Battle House built in 1852, which burned down in 1905.

The hotel was completely restored and the rooms were enlarged, reducing their number to 170. It reopened in 1985 managed by Radisson Hotels as the Radisson Admiral Semmes Hotel. [4] In 1989, it was one of the 32 founding hotels in the National Trust for Historic Preservation's Historic Hotels of America program. [6]

Spring Hill College is a private Jesuit college in Mobile, Alabama.It was founded in 1830 by Bishop Michael Portier of Mobile. Along with being the oldest college or university in the state of Alabama, it was the first Catholic college in the South, is the fifth-oldest Catholic college in the United States, and is the third-oldest member of the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities.
