Mangilao is a village on the eastern shore of the United States territory of Guam.The village's population has decreased slightly since the island's 2010 census. George Washington High School is a public secondary school located at 298 Washington Drive in Mangilao, in the United States territory of Guam. The school, a part of the Guam Department of Education (formerly Guam Public School System), opened in 1965 and serves grades 9 through 12.
University of Guam was founded in 1952 as a two-year teacher-training school known as the Territorial College of Guam, established by Governor Carlton Skinner [3] [4] In 1960, the college moved to the present campus in the central district of Mangilao. In 1965, the college was accredited as a four-year, degree granting institution.
