Harvey Shapiro (June 22, 1911 – October 25, 2007) was an American cellist and teacher. His professional debut was in 1935 at New York City's Town Hall.Following this, he was chosen by Arturo Toscanini to play in the cello section of the NBC Symphony Orchestra, whereupon he became its principal in 1943.
Young-Chang Cho was born in Seoul, South Korea in 1958.He began cello lessons at the age of eight. From 1971, he studied in the United States with David Soyer at the Curtis Institute of Music of Philadelphia, and later with Laurence Lesser at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston.
The Kronberg Academy is a private music school for string instrumentalists based in Kronberg im Taunus, Germany.Founded in 1993 [1] by Raimund Trenkler, the academy trains a select group of young musicians who have the potential to build international careers as soloists and chamber musicians.

Growing up, he also studied chamber music with other renowned teachers who joined Piatigorsky and the institute including Jascha Heifetz and William Primrose. [3] He graduated from John Muir High School in the Class of 1965, and was active in the John Muir orchestra while in Grades 10, 11, and 12.

Nathan Chan (born 1993) is an American cellist from Hillsborough, CA. [1] He has performed with the San Francisco Symphony, The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Albany Symphony Orchestra, among others.He was featured in the HBO Show, "The Music in Me: Children's Recitals From Classical to Latin to Jazz to Zydeco" [2] as well as Channel 4's "The World's Greatest Musical Prodigies".
