CCI copper-22 is 21gr 1850fps. I have went to only buying cci sv. I am selling the remainder of my hv stuff to a guy at work. It’s definitely dirty, but it sounds and shoots great in both my 10/22 and s&w victory. 1/2” or less groups at 50yds with my 10/22 and my pistol will shoot a 5-6” group at 85yds if I do my part.
CCI is probably my favorite but I have started using Aguila Super Maximum 30 grain HP in my ruger 10-22 with green mountain bbl. They are way more devastating than stingers and are more accurate in my gun. I have had only 1 jam in about 500rnds and that was due to a dirty gun. Awesome round, try em out.
yes, mine apparently stopped selling pistol ammo (maybe all Walmarts?); they have shotgun, .22 and various hunting rifle type ammo now, although stock has been mostly bare with the occasional box here and there over the past several months. Posted: 1/28/2021 6:26:20 PM EDT.

However, .22 Long is loaded with the same 29 grain bullet as the .22 Short. Any gun chambered for .22 Long Rifle can safely shoot .22 Short or .22 Long, but if it's a repeater, it may not feed them. If you can load a Short or Long in a LR chamber, it is safe to fire. Hmm, have not seen any .22 long since the 80s.
