Gorky's Zygotic Mynci (/ ˈ ɡ ɔː k i z ˌ z aɪ ˈ ɡ ɒ t ɪ k ˈ m ʌ ŋ k i /) were a psychedelic folk and alternative rock band which formed in Carmarthen, Wales, in 1991.The group performed music in both Welsh and English, and they had eight Top 75 singles on the UK Singles Chart during their career.
Tom Jones and Shirley Bassey dominated Welsh pop in the 60s. Bassey released her debut single, The Banana Boat Song in 1957 and in October 1964 released the James Bond film theme song, Goldfinger . In February 1965, Tom Jones released the hit single, It's Not Unusual , the start of his long career.

Racing Cars was a Welsh pop band, formed in the Rhondda Valley, Wales, in 1973. [1] Their only hit single was "They Shoot Horses, Don't They?", which peaked at number fourteen in the UK Singles Chart in 1977, and was inspired by the film, They Shoot Horses, Don't They? Touring included dates supporting Bad Company in 1976.

Los Campesinos! are a seven-piece indie pop band from Cardiff, Wales, formed in early 2006 at Cardiff University.The band has seen several lineup changes– lead vocalist Gareth David Paisey and guitarists Neil Turner and Tom Bromley are the only remaining original members, now joined by guitarist Rob Taylor, keyboardist Kim Paisey, bassist Matt Fidler and drummer Jason Adelinia.
