The Utah State Training School Amphitheater and Wall, is an amphitheater and boundary wall in northwest American Fork, Utah, United States, that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. [1] Utah State Training School Amphitheater plaque, December 2016
American Fork High School was established in 1902. [4] [better source needed] The first classes were held in the back rooms of a downtown bank. [5]The school was eventually moved to the Harrington School building, located where the American Fork Recreation Center and Pool Facilities now stand, until the current facility was constructed.
American Fork Canyon was part of the Recreation Fee Demonstration Project pilot project, which has become the Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act 2005. The fees collected at the information stations remain in the area to improve visitor services, maintain recreation facilities, enhance wildlife habitat, and protect natural resources.[1]
