Asha Jaoar Majhe (transl. Labour of Love) is a 2014 Indian film by Aditya Vikram Sengupta.The film stars Ritwick Chakraborty and Basabdatta Chatterjee as an unnamed married couple, which brings focus to the hard lives endured by ordinary working people in Kolkata.
Aditya Vikram Sengupta (born 6 September 1983) is an Indian film director, cinematographer and graphic designer. His first film Asha Jaoar Majhe or Labour of Love, released in 2014 which premiered at the 11th Venice Days section of the Venice International Film Festival, [1] [2] which won him the National Award for Best Debut in India.
Basabdatta's first movie was 'Labour of Love' (Asha Jaoar Majhe) which was released on 2 September 2014. She starred in a lead role alongside her co-actor was Ritwick Chakraborty in the movie which was directed by Aditya Vikram Sengupta.

He won the National Award for Best Sound Design (Best Audiography) [2] for the film Labour of Love (Asha Jaoar Majhe, 2014). He bagged the Best Sound Design award at the 63rd Filmfare Awards, for the film Trapped (2017). He is the Sound Designer of the acclaimed Netflix series 'Sacred Games'.
She also composed the score of B.A. Pass (2013), Fandry (2013), Anwar Ka Ajab Kissa (2013), Asha Jaoar Majhe (2014) and Trapped (2017).
