Ben T. Williams (c. 1911 – January 11, 1982) [1] was a justice of the Oklahoma Supreme Court from 1953 to 1982. He served as chief justice twice, in 1961-62 and in 1975–76. He lived in Oklahoma City, and also maintained a home in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. [2] Williams was born in Johnson County, Texas, and later moved to Garvin County, Oklahoma.
Stratford is the self-proclaimed Peach Capital of the World. Stratford was originally the town of McGee, which was established in 1891. [5] At the time, it was part of Pickens County, Chickasaw Nation [6] in an unorganized geographic region of the United States known as Indian Territory [7] In 1906 the Oklahoma Central Railroad built the railroad two miles south of McGee. Bob Beckham c. 1960. Beckham was born in Stratford, Oklahoma. Beginning at age 8, he got into entertainment as a child actor with a traveling show. [1] [6] He was a Hollywood movie actor for a while (Junior G Men, Starmaker) but returned to Oklahoma in 1940 to attend school. [6]
Roger Dale Stafford (November 4, 1951 – July 1, 1995) was a convicted serial killer executed for the 1978 murders of the Lorenz Family and six employees of a Sirloin Stockade restaurant in Oklahoma. [1]
In 1990, when he was only 27, Douglass, running as a Republican, was elected as the youngest State Senator to serve in Oklahoma. His signature legislation was a 1992 bill championing the rights of crime victims. He served from 1991-2003 representing district 40. He also ran unsuccessfully for the U.S. House 6th district in a 1994 special election.

O. W. Gurley (December 25, 1867 – August 6, 1935) was once one of the wealthiest Black men and a founder of the Greenwood district in Tulsa, Oklahoma, known as "Black Wall Street". [ 1 ] [ 2 ] Early life
