Steve Courson grew up in Longmeadow, Massachusetts and went to Longmeadow High School. He played on the offense and defense lines and graduated in 1973 in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. His #71 was retired, and he is the only football player in Gettysburg High School history to receive such an honor. [citation needed]
Streeter was a two-year starter at quarterback for Gettysburg Area High School, where he threw for more than 4,000 yards in his career and led the Warriors to two appearances in the district championship game. The Georgia Interscholastic Association (GIA) was a school sports league in Georgia. [2] It was integrated into the GHSA in 1970.
