  2. Character Height/Weight Visualizer? - EN World

    www.enworld.org/threads/character-height-weight-visualizer.294744

Sep 28, 2010. #6. Height is easy enough, just take an image of a person, and scale it next to a reference figure to see how they might look. Halfling (4 ft) next to a human (6 ft) next to a giant (25 ft) Weight is trickier, as it's generally meaningless (at 6'0" - 280 lb I could be fat or a body builder, very different appearances).

When you make a long jump, you cover a number of feet up to your Strength score if you move at least 10 feet on foot before the jump. This rule assumes that the height of your jump doesn't matter, such as jumping across a stream. No ability check, no dice rolls, no feats or proficiency bonuses or anything. Distance = Strength score.

  6. D&D General Comparing Giant Sizes - EN World

    www.enworld.org/threads/comparing-giant-sizes.668304

1 - Your level of heat over 4-5' of height is slightly amusing to me. 2 - These are the giants from D&D at least as far back as 1995, so... shrug YMMV but these are almost the exact same heights as giants from D&D 24 years ago. EDIT - I just went and checked 3.x stats. Looks like they shaved 4-6' off giant heights in the move from 2e to 3.x.

Others, however, speak directly to it and you can weigh their place in society in general in comparison. Personally, I think a creation can grow a community that goes beyond its creator. At this point, D&D is part of our culture and the collective owners, designers, editors have responsibility for it going forward.

Ah, that's an interesting question. Well, there is a height chart in the 3.5 manuals that shows the average heights of creatures, you could just multiply it by 30mm... Small would probably be 15mm Medium 30mm (1x1 base) Large 60mm (2x2 base) Huge 90mm (3x3 base) Gargantuan 120mm (4x4 base) Colossal 240mm (8x8? base) Just guessing though.

  11. Player Core and Gamemaster Core Remastered Review

    www.enworld.org/threads/player-core-and-gamemaster-core-remastered-review.700758

As a player, I love that they took out GM things from the Player Core. This keeps players from metagaming and looking at things like hazards and monsters for stats. The downside of splitting the GM Core from the Player Core is the loss of treasures and alchemical items from the book the players are using. This isn’t the worst thing in the ...
