After taekwondo was introduced in France by Lee Kwan-Young in 1968, the FFTKD was created in 1978 and joined the French Karate Federation (FFKAMA) in 1979. It was renamed CNT (National Taekwondo Committee) in 1994. In 1995, the FFTDA was created to succeed the CNT as an independent federation. [3]

Automne Pavia (born 3 January 1989) is a French judoka. [1] In 2012, she won bronze at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the class –57 kg. [1] At the 2012 Summer Olympics, Pavia beat Sarah Clark, Carli Renzi and Sabrina Filzmoser before losing to Kaori Matsumoto in the semi-final. She then beat Hedvig Karakas in her bronze medal match.
