The 2024–25 season is the 108th season in the history of Southampton, and the club's first season back in the Premier League since the 2022–23 campaign, following their promotion from the Championship in the previous season. In addition to the domestic league, the club participated in the FA Cup and the EFL Cup.
For almost six years the club took no part in any official competitions at national level, playing only friendlies and local tournaments, including the Hampshire Senior Cup. St Mary's first entered the FA Cup in the 1891–92 season, and in 1894 under the name Southampton St Mary's joined the newly founded Southern Football League.
