The North Carolina End of Grade Tests are the standardized tests given to students in grades 3 to 8 in North Carolina. Beyond grade 8, there are End of Course Tests for students in grades 9 to 12. The EOG is given to test skills in mathematics, English, and science. Students in grades 3 to 8 must take the mathematics and English End of Grade Tests.
Electro-olfactography or electroolfactography (EOG) is a type of electrography (electrophysiologic test) that aids the study of olfaction (the sense of smell). It measures and records the changing electrical potentials of the olfactory epithelium, [1] in a way similar to how other forms of electrography (such as ECG, EEG, and EMG) measure and record other bioelectric activity.

[7] On June 14, 2019 House Bill HB3906 was passed by Governor Greg Abbott for the redesign of the STAAR test and a transition from paper to digital testing. (Later introduced in the 2022-2023 school year) [5]
Study limitations. The data does have limitations. First, the studies relied on participant reporting, which increases recall bias and misclassification risk.
