National Hero of Indonesia (Indonesian: Pahlawan Nasional Indonesia) is the highest-level title awarded in Indonesia. [1] It is posthumously given by the Government of Indonesia for actions which are deemed to be heroic, defined as "actual deeds which can be remembered and exemplified for all time by other citizens" [a] or "extraordinary service furthering the interests of the state and people".
Abdul Kadir Raden Temenggung Setia Pahlawan (1771–1875) was a nobleman from Melawi.He fostered economic development in his region and fought against colonial Dutch. With the Presidential Decree No. 114/TK/1999 released on 13 October 1999, he was given the title of a National Hero of Indonesia. [1]

Andi Mappanyukki, also spelt as Andi Mappanjukki, [1] (1885 – 18 April 1967), [2] was the 32nd King of Bone and an Indonesian rebel who fought against the Dutch from the 1920s to the 1930s. A National Hero of Indonesia, he was the father of Andi Abdullah Bau Massepe. [2] [3] He was a scion of both the houses of Gowa and Bone. [4]
