Should I Use the Classic or Web version of my client? I use BitTorrent (though that doesn't really matter for my question), and I just found out that they had launched a web torrent version, renaming the one I use as 'classic'. Should I choose this new version or stick with my classic one?

I tried to uninstall BitTorrent Web (Windows) and got a confirmation prompt with a blank checkbox. Does anyone know what this is? I don't know whether to proceed with the box checked or unchecked. Uninstallation advice? MalwareBytes flags the installation file as potentially dangerous but apparently can't remove installed software. Most questions in BitTorrent's user forums go unanswered ...

Been using web version on Mac for few months now but since a few days I get all my downloads (well seeded, top torrents) blocked after 2-3 mins, they slow down to few B/s and eventually stop. I can see multiplex peers are available. I am running BitTorrent Web Version 1.0.7.2340 (6403) - which I think just auto-updated.

BitTorrent is a rebranded uTorrent and it's full of ads and it seems exploits are found every so often. You should check out qBittorrent which is an open source alternative.
