The Omaha Storm Chasers have played at Werner Park since 2011. The Omaha Storm Chasers are a Minor League Baseball team that has played in Papillion, Nebraska since being established in 1969. They were initially members of the American Association (AA) before joining the Pacific Coast League (PCL) in 1998, and the International League (IL) in 2021.
Werner Park is a minor league ballpark in eastern Nebraska, the home of the Omaha Storm Chasers (the Triple A affiliate of Major League Baseball's Kansas City Royals) and USL League One professional soccer club Union Omaha. The University of Nebraska Omaha Mavericks also occasionally used the stadium for some home college baseball games.
They were originally known as the Omaha Royals when established as a member of the Triple-A American Association in 1969. They joined the Pacific Coast League (PCL) in 1998 and were briefly known as the Omaha Golden Spikes (1999–2001) before reverting to their Royals moniker. Omaha became the Storm Chasers in 2011.

The Triple-A Omaha Storm Chasers (formerly Royals) of the International League opted for a smaller capacity venue at the new Werner Park, west of Papillion in Sarpy County. In 2021, after Charles Schwab Corporation acquired TD Ameritrade, the park was renamed Charles Schwab Field Omaha.
