Timothy McSweeney's Quarterly Concern is an American literary journal, founded in 1998, typically containing short stories, reportage, and illustrations. Some issues also include poetry, comic strips, and novellas.
At the time of the filing, PGW owed McSweeney's about $600,000. [2] To recover the funds, McSweeney's accepted a deal from the publishing group and distributor, Perseus Books Group, that offered payment of 70 cents on the dollar owed by PGW. [3] In June 2007, McSweeney's held a successful sale and eBay auction to help make up the difference. [4]
In 2017, the magazine found a new home, moving from McSweeney's to the Beverly Rogers, Carol C. Harter Black Mountain Institute, an international literary center at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. In October 2021, The UNLV College of Liberal Arts announced that the February/March 2022 issue of Believer would be the final issue published. [1]
