The Princeton Triangle Club is a theater troupe at Princeton University.Founded in 1891, it is one of the oldest collegiate theater troupes in the United States.Triangle premieres an original student-written musical every year, and then takes that show on a national tour. [1]
It was used as a guest house by the university from 1960 to 1968 and subsequently became the official residence of the president of the university. [3] The official residence had originally been Maclean House, built 1756. [4] From 1878-1968, it had been Prospect House but was moved to Walter Lowrie House, which is off campus grounds.

The Columbia University Club of New York was in residence at the Princeton Club from 1998 to 2017, when it left to become in-residence at The Penn Club at 30 West 44th Street. Unlike fraternities and sororities, to which the clubs are sometimes compared, all of the clubs admit both male and female members, and members (with the exception of some of the undergraduate officers) do not live in the mansion.
