On December 4, 2023, the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines cancelled TAPE Inc.'s registration of the "Eat Bulaga" and "EB" trademarks No. 4-2011-005951 and No. 4–2011–005950, respectively, and credited Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto and de Leon as the owner of Eat Bulaga!. The decisions were received by the parties the next day.
