Why is Xsplit Gamecaster on my Windows 10 PC? So I was going through my files and I saw something called Xsplit gamecaster which was installed before i bought the PC. It seems like it's a screen recording app used by gamers and so on to record gameplay. Why is it on my PC?? Does it come default on windows 10 PCs???
But Gamecaster's 'trial' version is more than enough for a starting steamer. The only downside is the countdown timer at startup & shutdown, and the lack of BRB screen. XSplit appears to send all computer system audio directly out to the stream instead of through the mixer via the external headphones jack. I can monitor the computer audio via the phones output on the mixer board but the input fader for the computer audio input does not adjust stream sound. (Only the mixer in XSplit does that.)
Not quite sure how this is being caused - but with XSplit GameCaster, I'm noticing a lot of ingame stutter. Framerate is in around 200-300fps solid, but I seem to be dropping frames like crazy, even without enabling stream/record mode. Every 1.5-2s or so, I get .5s of total lockup. I MUCH prefer gamecaster to broadcaster. Could someone walk me through how to maybe set it up under the "other" software option?

I've been trying to figure out how to add the Streamlabs Alerts to Xsplit Gamecaster and have had no luck so far. Most of the videos or any information I've found have been a bit outdated on my end. Also, if you can do gifs in Gamecaster let me know. If anyone can help me figure this out it would be very much appreciated!
