Patan Hospital is one of the largest hospitals in Nepal. [citation needed] It uses modern equipment and facilities to provide treatment for almost 320,000 outpatients and 20,000 inpatients every year. Patan Hospital staff conduct more than 10,000 operations annually. The hospital has been operating with an annual revenue of around US$3.5 million.
It was established as a Janaki Public Hospital in 2013 BS (1956-1957). It was then upgraded to 15 bedded hospital in 2024 BS (1967-1968). Whereas, in 2026 BS (1969-1970) it was again upgraded to 25 bedded hospital.
