The United States Swimming National Championships (a.k.a. "Nationals") are held annually, in summer. The event is organized by USA Swimming , and is held in a long course (50m) pool. In the past, and as recently as 2007, there were 2 meets annually: a Spring and a Summer Nationals.
Nate Dusing was born one of four children to Jim and Judy Dusing in Villa Hills, Kentucky, on November 25, 1978. [1] While living in Villa Hills, Dusing began swimming for the nearby Cincinnati Marlins around the age of eight and continued with the team through High School when he was coached by Ken Stopkotte. In February 2020, Dobler swam the fastest 100-yard breaststroke by a woman in the history of high school swimming in the United States, setting a new national high school record in the event at the 2020 Oregon 6A State Championships with her time of 58.35 seconds.

Bill Diaz (August 1, 1925–September 18, 2014) was a high school and college swim coach, best known for coaching the University of Miami men's team from July 1970 to 1984, and leading them to National Championships in 1974, 1977, and 1982.
