The National Defence Medical Centre (NDMC) was the national and largest hospital of the Canadian Forces in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It served the needs of the members of the military. Constructed in 1961, it was closed in the 1990s due to budget cutbacks in National Defence and Veterans' Affairs Canada.
In May 2017 the group's national headquarters (CF H Svcs Gp HQ) moved from the National Defence Medical Centre to the NDHQ Carling Campus, in Ottawa, Ontario. It has two subordinate regional headquarters. Each health services group is made up of CF health services centres and field ambulances (Regular and Reserve).
