Erzurum (Armenian: Կարին, romanized: Karin; [1] Kurdish: Erzîrom [2]) is a city in eastern Anatolia, Turkey. It is the largest city and capital of Erzurum Province and is 1,900 meters (6,233 feet) above sea level.

Rüstem Pasha Caravanserai (Turkish: Rüstem Paşa Kervansarayı), also known as Taşhan, is a caravanserai located in Yakutiye district of Erzurum, eastern Turkey, built by Ottoman statesman and grand vizier Rüstem Pasha in 1561.
The Milli Piyango Curling Arena, is an indoor curling rink in Erzurum, Turkey. Opened in 2010, it is the country's first and only curling facility as of 2012. The arena has five curling sheets and 1,000 seating capacity. The arena was built for the 2011 Winter Universiade, and opened in September 2010.
